I see escaped ' signs. Looks tacky.

I manually fixed them. I'll look at automating that. One nice feature of the system - the blog data is in an xml file on the web site so you can just use a text editor to fix it. Most of the blog systems I have seen put the blog data in a relational database so you need special tools to get access to the data.

This form should (must) use *labels*. The "procedures"should be above the textarea, not inside as this information is lost as soon as the user starts typing. It is also lost if the form fails validation and the user goes back to the form and want to add something to the textarea, this would lead to a very frustrating experience as the user lost everything he had typed before. It would be great to tell people why you are asking them to type "coffeepot". On the other hand, if this is used as a simple CAPTCHA, it may not be necessary if users need to confirm their post so it can be published, no? If that's the way it works, then the drawback (?) of this approach is that people cannot comment anonymously, which should reduce participation.
